What If ATM Doesn’t Give Cash But Account Is Debited

It can be frustrating when an ATM doesn't dispense cash, but your current account still gets debited. Here's what you should do immediately:

1. Don't Panic – Wait a Few Minutes

Sometimes, the transaction auto-reverses within a few minutes. Wait and check if the amount is credited back.

2. Keep the Transaction Slip or Note the Details

Save the receipt or note the date, time, ATM location, and the last few digits of your card number.

3. Contact AU Small Finance Bank Immediately

Call AU Small Finance Bank’s customer care or visit the nearest branch to raise a dispute. You can also log a complaint via AU 0101 App or NetBanking.

4. File a Written Complaint (if needed)

In case the issue isn't resolved promptly, submit a written complaint with all transaction details.

5. Wait for the Resolution Timeline

As per RBI guidelines, banks usually resolve failed ATM transactions within 5 calendar days from the transaction date. If it takes longer, you may be entitled to compensation.
