How to Apply
If you have an account with AU Small Finance Bank, you can apply for a Debit Card.
You can apply for a Debit Card online or offline at the time of Savings Account opening process.

Instant Debit Card Pin Generation
1. Via AU Small Finance Bank ATM
- Step 1: Visit AU Small Finance Bank ATM (To locate our nearest ATM service click here, you can also check the locations on AU 0101 Business App/NetBanking).
- Step 2: Insert the ATM card into the machine
- Step 3: Select the option 'Set your Debit Card PIN’
- Step 4: Enter the 6-digit OTP received on your registered mobile number
- Step 5: Set your 4-digit pin
2. Via Website
- Click on the link- AU Bank
- Enter your mobile number and verify via OTP
- Set your PIN
- Confirm using PAN or Date of Birth
- Enable the toggle to switch on online transactions
3. Via Calling on our Customer Care Numbers
- Step 1: Call on 1800 1200 1200
- Step 2: Select the option for Debit Card PIN generation
- Step 3: Enter the 16-digit Debit Card number
- Step 4: Input the expiry date.
- Step 5: Set your 4-digit PIN
How to Enable/Disable Transactions on your Debit Card?
As per RBI regulations, your AU Debit Card is disabled for Online (E-com), Contactless (Tap & Pay), and international transactions by default. You can enable or disable these channels anytime using the AU 0101 App, NetBanking, or the AU Small Finance Bank website.1. Via AU 0101 App and NetBanking
- Login to AU 0101 App or NetBanking
- Select Debit Card.
- Click on transactional usage to enable/disable E-commerce, contactless & international transactions
- Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number

What is a Debit Card?
A Debit Card is a payment card that can be used in place of cash to make purchases. The card includes the bank's name, a card number, the name of the cardholder, expiration date, and the CVV. During a purchase, the cardholder needs to have enough money in their bank account. The money is deducted from their account and sent directly to the merchant to complete the purchase.
How is Debit Card different from a Credit Card?
A debit card is a plastic payment card issued by a bank that allows you to access funds directly from your savings or current account to make purchases or withdraw cash. Credit Cards allow borrowing up to a limit, while Debit Cards use existing account funds.
What is a Personal Identification Number (PIN)?
A Debit Card PIN is a unique four-digit code that is assigned to every Debit Card user. It is important to note that the PIN should not be shared with any person or entity.
What can I do if I forget my Debit Card pin?
In case you forget the PIN for your AU Debit Card, you can call on AU small Finance Bank customer care number 1800 1200 1200 to reset the PIN, use an AU SFB ATM or you can reset your PIN through AU 0101 App and NetBanking.
Can I use my Debit Card if I don’t have any money in my account?
No, Debit Card users can only spend the money available in their bank account.
Will I be charged any fee if I don’t use my Debit Card for a long time?
No, you will not be charged any fee if you don’t use your Debit Card for a long time.
Can I issue a Debit Card on my OD account?
AU Small Finance Bank does not issue Debit Cards for Overdraft (OD) or Cash Credit accounts.
What can I do if the Debit Card is stolen?
- Block your Debit Card instantly via AU 0101 App, NetBanking, Auro Chatbot or by calling the customer care at 1800 1200 1200.
- Check your transaction history and SMS for any fraudulent or unauthorized transactions.
- File an FIR.
- Request your bank to issue a new Debit Card.
