Mr. M S Sriram joined the Board of the Bank in October, 2019. He is a graduate from Institute of Rural Management, Anand and has completed his doctoral studies at the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. He has more than 35 years of experience in Banking, Economics, Finance, Business Management, Accountancy, Financial Inclusion & Microfinance, Rural Economy, Co-operatives, Agriculture Finance.

Presently, Professor at the Centre for Public Policy at IIM Bangalore (IIMB). Prior to this, he was Professor of Finance and Accounting and the ICICI Bank Lalita D Gupte Chair, Professor of Microfinance at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He also held position as a shareholder director on the Board of Union Bank of India for a period of 6 years. He has authored many books including annual ‘Inclusive Finance India Report’ for the years 2015, 2016 and 2017.
