Domestic lounge

Starting April 01, 2026, you can enjoy complimentary airport lounge access by spending Rs. 5,000 in the preceding three months.

For instance, to be eligible for complimentary lounge access in May, a customer is required to spend a minimum of ₹5,000 during the preceding three months (February - April). The same eligibility logic will apply on a rolling basis for subsequent months.

This updated criteria to avail complimentary domestic airport lounge access will be applicable for the below cards:

 For AU Eternity, eligibility will be based on the customer meeting AU Eternity Program criteria in the previous month.

Customer needs to enable ecom/pos txn for availing domestic and international lounge access.

Can I get complimentary access to every lounge?

No, only lounge mentioned in list will be complimentary.

What is the difference between Domestic and International lounges?

All lounges with India are considered as Domestic lounge and lounge outside India are considered as international lounges.

How to check number of visits remaining and list of lounges for international lounge access?

Customer can check the same via priority pass app. Steps are shared above under international lounge access section.

How to check number of visits remaining and list of lounges for domestic lounge access?

Customer can Download HOI app > Airport lounge Access > Add card > Authenticate.

What to do if priority pass digital access is not working/unable to access digitally on priority pass app?

In case of technical failure on priority pass app, customer can access international lounge access using Debit Card. This function is eligible for all card variants on which international lounge access benefit is provided except for Royale World Debit Card customers

Will Priority pass work for Domestic lounge access?

No, Priority pass will not work on domestic lounge access. Priority pass is used to access international lounge

Will there be any additional fees charged on complimentary airport lounge entry?

The airport lounge visit will be possible post transaction authentication from AU Debit Cards. Rs 2 will be deducted for authentication.

I’ve just opened an account with AU Small Finance Bank and received my Debit Card; will I be eligible for complimentary airport lounge benefit?

For newly onboarded customers, the feature will be available without any condition for the onboarding month and next two months.

Example: if you’ve opened your new account on 10th December 2025, you are eligible for complimentary lounge access till 28th February 2026.

  • If I have made a Gpay/Phonepe/Paytm or any other mobile wallet-based payments will that be considered for meeting the minimum spends criteria of Rs 5,000 for availing the complimentary airport lounge feature.

No, the form factor for making the payments must be AU Debit Card i.e. only POS/Online(E-com)/SI(on Debit Card) are the 3 types of transactions which are used for calculating spends by the customer. The account-based or wallet-based transactions such as Gpay, Phonepe, Paytm etc. are not debit card payments.

  • I have made credit card bill payment paid via my debit card, will that be counted for meeting the spends criteria of Rs 5,000.

The credit card bills, and debit card EMI are paid by accounts and are not going to be counted for customer meeting the criteria of Rs 5,000 in a cumulative quarter.

Do I need to spend Rs 5,000 in a single transaction to be eligible for a complimentary access?

You can spend Rs 5,000 or more in a single transaction OR make multiple transactions aggregating to Rs 5,000 or more, in store or online. Both the scenarios will be eligible.

If I have made a cash withdrawal of Rs 5,000 from an ATM, will it be counted for a complimentary access?

ATM withdrawals will not be counted as a spend. Only purchases made in-store or online using your AU Debit Card will be considered as a valid spend.

What types of transactions will be considered for Rs. 5,000 spends criteria?

For Debit Cards quarterly spends criteria of Rs. 5,000, E-commerce, POS transactions will be considered.

UPI transactions (BHIM, Google Pay, PhonePe etc.), Wallet Load Transactions, ATM transactions and cash withdrawals will not be considered.

What is program criteria?

Program criteria is the required balance/TRV/ Salary credit to be maintained as per the respective account and it is mandatory to maintain these criteria for accessing complimentary lounge access.

I have a joint account having 2 cards, will my cards be eligible for complimentary lounge access if total spends of 5000 is made on both cards together?

No, the spends are only considered at individual card level for complimentary lounge access.

Will my card qualify for the complimentary domestic airport lounge access if group – level spends are as per eligibility criteria?

No, the spends are only considered at individual card level and not on group level for complimentary lounge access.

Which AU Debit Cards are not impacted with spend/program-based criteria?
