Mr. Pushpinder Singh joined the Board of the Bank in October 2019. He is a BSc graduate and a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB-1).

He is a Banking Technology expert with over 38 years of rich experience in Banking, Information Technology, Payment and Settlement Systems, and Business Management. In his career, he focused on technological advancement and implementing IT as a key enabler in the Banking sector. With a humble beginning at the Bank of India, his career progressed, and he was promoted to Chief Information Officer (CIO), where he was responsible for IT infrastructure, and implementation of various IT systems and projects. His valuable contribution to the IT Sector was duly acknowledged and he was awarded the CIO Masters award in year 2013.

He was awarded a certificate of completion for the international program on information assurance and management for executives of Banks and Financial Institutions from the University of Buffalo, the State University of New York.

He was associated with the National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI) as an advisor on FI and new Business till 2017. At NPCI, he headed as product and business development lead for AePS products using Aadhaar authentication for payments using Micro ATMs. 

He has special knowledge and practical experience in the fields of Banking, Information Technology, Payment & Settlement Systems and Business Management.
