How to Make Outward Remittance via AU Remit?

What Is AU Remit?

AU Remit is AU Small Finance Bank’s digital platform for international transfers. It works within the AU 0101 App or internet banking, showing all the charges upfront.

 

Who Can Use AU Remit?

  • Resident Indians

    Must hold an active AU savings account. Transfers occur under RBI’s Liberalised Remittance Scheme (LRS).
  • NRI Customers

    Must hold an active AU NRE account. NRE balances are fully repatriable, so no LRS limits apply.
  • Open a savings or NRE account via the AU 0101 App or any AU branch; AU Remit becomes available immediately.
 

How Do I Add a Beneficiary?

  1. Log In to the AU 0101 App. Tap “Send Money Abroad”.
  2. Select “Add Recipients” or “Receivers” and fill the required details.
  3. Enter the beneficiary’s intermediary’s details such as SWIFT code,Bank name, account  number, /BIC
  4. Tap “Save.”  Click on Review to see the details if any details need to be changed click on “Edit”  else click on “Confirm Recipient”
  5. The beneficiary now appears in your list for future transfers.
 

How Do I Complete a Transfer?

  1. Select Beneficiary

    In “Send Money Abroad,” choose the saved beneficiary.
  2. Enter Amount & Purpose

    Specify either the INR amount or the foreign-currency amount, and select a purpose for transfer (education, medical, family support, etc.) and fill the mandatory details.
  3. Review Fees & Rate

    View the live exchange rate and all charges (bank fees, RBI taxes) before confirming.
  4. Confirm & Authenticate

    Authorize with your MPIN or OTP. You’ll receive a reference number and can track status until the beneficiary gets the funds.
 

What Documents Are Needed?

  • KYC

    Registered mobile number, Aadhaar, and PAN.
  • Purpose Documents

    (If required) Admission letter for education, medical bills, etc. AU Remit is paperless, but the app/portal prompts you if additional documents are required.
 

How Long Does a Transfer Take?

 Bank Credit: Typically, 24–48 hours after confirmation.
