1. Herbal Tea

Ingredients
Ginger- 1/2 tsp
Turmeric- 1/2 tsp
Black pepper- a small pinch
Cinnamon - 2 pinches
Honey- 1 tsp
 
Preparation:
Take one cup of water and boil everything together except honey. Next, add honey and sip.
 

2. Cucumber Juice

Cucumber is the best hydrating food for summers. Thanks to its high-water content, it helps prevent dehydration and protects the skin from sunburns and suntans. This low-calorie vegetable – is also filled with various nutrients.

Ingredients
Cucumber – 1 large
Jaggery – ¼ tsp
Water – 1 cup
 
Preparation
Blend all the ingredients together in mixer grinder. Strain and sip!

Jaggery – ¼ tsp
Water – ½ cup
Cumin powder – 1 tbsp
Lemon juice – 3 to 4 tbsp
 
Preparation
Blend all the ingredients together in mixer grinder. Strain and add ice cubes if needed. Sip and chill!
 

4. Melon Juices

There are multiple variants of melons with different tastes and appearances. Whether it's watermelons, muskmelon or normal lemons etc., almost all of them are easily found in the market. Loaded with antioxidants like, beta-carotene, vitamin C and folic acid – melons are also known as immune-boosting food items.

Ingredients
Melon (any kind) – 1 cup
Honey – ½ tbsp
 
Preparation
Add both the food items into a food processor. Churn until you get a smooth thick liquid. Freeze for 4 to 6 hours before serving.
 

5. Buttermilk

Popularly known as chaas, this amazing curd-based drink is undoubtedly an Indian favourite, especially during summers. Rich in probiotics - this soothing drink improves the digestive system and regulates the flow of blood in the body.

Ingredients
Mint leaves – ½ cup
Green chilly -1
Coriander leaves – ¼ cup
Smashed ginger – ¼ tbsp
Yogurt – 1 cup
Generous pinch of asafoetida /hing
Cumin powder – ¼ tsp
Lemon juice – 1 tsp
Water – 1 cup
 
Method
Blend all the ingredients together in a grinder. Add splash of ice cubes if needed. Sip and enjoy.
 

6. Coconut water

Coconut water is considered to be an ideal summer drink. A perfect blend of nutrients and vitamins, this drink prevents heat stroke and replenishes the dehydration conditions in the body.  The best part is - it doesn’t contain any calories, unlike other beverages.
