Terms and Conditions

Retail Fixed Deposits are single Fixed Deposits booked for an amount less than INR 3 Crore.
** For NRE Fixed Deposit: tenures of 12 months 1 day & above are applicable.
Interest rates are subject to periodic changes. The applicable interest rates will be offered based on the date and time of receipt of the funds by the Bank. The depositor shall ascertain the rates on the booking date of Fixed Deposit.
Only Resident Indian Senior Citizens (of 60 years of age and above) are eligible for the Senior Citizen Interest rate specified. The special rates are applicable only for Resident deposits.
The Bank computes interest based on the actual number of months & days in a year. In case, the deposit is spread over a leap and a non-leap year, the interest is calculated based on the number of days i.e. 366 days in a leap year & 365 days in a non-leap year. The period of Fixed Deposit is calculated in number of months & days.
The interest rate applicable on premature closure of Fixed Deposits (all amounts) will be lower of:
- (i). the base rate for the original/contracted tenure for which the Fixed Deposit has been booked
  OR
- (ii). the base rate applicable for the tenure for which the Fixed Deposit has been in force with the Bank
  The base rate is the rate applicable to Retail Fixed Deposits as on the date of booking the deposit.
In case of NRE deposit no interest will be paid if the NRE Deposit is liquidated before the completion of 1 year from the date of booking.
The interest charge on premature closure / withdrawal of Retail Fixed Deposits including partial closures has been fixed by the Bank at the rate of 1%
In case of Premature withdrawal of Planet First - AU Green Fixed Deposit, the Fixed Deposit shall be considered as a regular Fixed Deposit and interest rates applicable shall be of a regular fixed deposit.
In case of Domestic Fixed Deposits: No interest will be paid if the deposit is withdrawn within 7 days of the date of booking the deposit

Interest compounding frequency and interest payout frequency, on our Fixed Deposits, is on anniversary basis
Monthly Payout Fixed Deposits are available only for tenures above 3 months
Monthly Payout Fixed Deposits are available for both individuals (Domestic, NRO, Senior Citizens) and non-individuals
Monthly Payout Fixed Deposits are available at discounted rates as mentioned above
