passport-sized photographs. You can fill in the application form at the branch to get the process
started.

Any government entity can open the account. The list of departments
eligible to open a current account is mentioned below:

  • State PSU
  • Autonomous bodies
  • Urban local bodies (Municipal Corporations)
  • Housing and Development Boards
  • Entities that are undertaken/governed by the government, such as:
    • Public Ltd.
    • Society

    • Club

    • Trust

    • University

    • Institution

    • Government (Taxable)

    • Financial Institutions (Tax/No Tax)

    • Sec. 8 Company

    • PSU (Tax/No Tax)

Documents Required

1. Opening Form
2. KYC documents as per customer constitution
3. OVD documents of Authorized Signatories and Beneficial Owners
4. Beneficial Ownership Declaration
5. FATCA CRS
6. Undertaking from customer for credit exposure to Banking system
7. Certificate issued by DPIIT (DEPARTMENT FOR PROMOTION OF INDUSTRY & TRADE)
under MINISTRY OF COMMERCE & INDUSTRY (non-mandatory)
8. Other applicable documents/annexures as per requirement
