Over the last 12 years with AU, Ankur has led the Bank’s Technology and Digital Initiatives from inception, driving its evolution from a Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) to a Small Finance Bank (SFB) and now steering its transition toward becoming a Universal Bank.

He has been instrumental in pioneering app-based banking through AU0101, creating a seamless digital experience for customers and building tech-ready stacks that positioned the Bank as a leader in digital innovation.

Ankur is at the forefront of AI-driven interventions, leveraging advanced analytics and automation to enhance customer engagement, operational efficiency, and risk management setting the foundation for AU’s next phase of growth.

Before joining AU, Ankur co-founded a start-up focused on developing next-generation frameworks and solutions for the Indian logistics market, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit and deep understanding of emerging technologies.
